Vidalia Onion Casserole Recipe
Ingredients:
Butter crackers; crushed
Cheese (Parmesan)
1/2 c of butter
5 pcs of onions (large, Vidalia)
Instructions:
Peel off skins from onions then slice thinly into rings. Saute onions until nicely browned. Transfer half of this mixture to a two quart baking dish. Layer Parmesan to cover then place crackers which has been crushed on top.
Repeat with the remainder of the onion mixture and until all ingredients have been used. Bake for half an hour (325 degrees F).
