Vidalia Onion Casserole Recipe II
Ingredients:
Almonds; slivered
1&1/2 c of Cheddar; shredded
1 container/can of soup (celery)
1 quart of onions (fresh Vidalia)
Instructions:
Peel off skins from onions then slice to thin rings. Boil ’till tender then drain. Transfer to a buttered baking dish. Add the cheese and soup.
Layer slivered almonds over top then bake for half an hour.
