Vidalia Onion and Sausage Casserole Recipe
Ingredients:
1 jar of pimiento (small)
1/2 c of cheese (Cheddar); grated
1 can of mushroom soup (cream style, 10&3/4 ozs)
1/4 tsp of salt
1 lb of sausage; pan fried & drained
12 pcs of crackers; crushed
5 pcs of onions (Vidalia); thinly sliced & sauteed
Instructions:
Preset oven (350 degrees F). Mix together all the ingredients and just leave off the butter crackers. Move to a baking dish, layer crackers over the mixture then bake half an hour ’till golden in color. Best served hot.
