Tuna Casserole Recipe
Ingredients:
Salt
Pepper
1/2 c of cheese (mozzarella); shredded
1/4 c of bread crumbs (fresh)
3 Tbsps of butter; melted & divided
1/2 c of soured cream
1 can of soup (cream of mushroom, 10 ozs)
1 c of mushrooms (fresh); sliced
1 pc of onion (small)
4 c of macaroni
4 cans of tuna (6 ozs); drained
Instructions:
Cook macaroni as per package instructions ’till tender. Drench in tap water then drain. Saute onions in butter until onions run clear. Mix in the mushrooms then cook ’till it has become tender.
Remove from fire then mix this with the macaroni together with the tuna, soured cream and soup. Season with pepper and salt.
Mix together bread crumbs with melted butter then dust over casserole. Layer with cheese atop the bake for half an hour (350 degrees F).
