Tiffany’s Bean and Sausage Casserole Recipe
Ingredients:
1 recipe for baked beans (un cooked)
1 can of beans (kidney, red, 15 ozs); washed & drained
1 pack of turkey kielbasa (Butterball Polska); cut to bite sized pieces
Instructions:
Mix together beans (kidney) then turkey sausage with the beans (baked). Decant onto a two quart baking dish then bake for an hour ’till bubbly (350 degrees F). May be served over rice that has just been cooked.
As another variation, you may opt to add cutlets of ham/bacon as substitute to the kielbasa. Otherwise you may also decant beans onto a casserole dish together with chicken breast fillets or chops.
May be served over the cooked meat or cooked rice then throw in some legumes or leafy greens as salad.
