Taco Twist Recipe
Ingredients:
1/2 c of soured cream
1 c of cheese (Cheddar, 4 ozs); grated
3 c of macaroni (corkscrew, 8 ozs); cooked & drained
1/4 c of bell pepper (green)
1 can of tomato sauce (15 ozs)
1 packet of seasoning mix (Durkee Taco)
1 lb of grounded beef
Instructions:
Saute the meat until no longer pink. Remove excess liquid. Add the taco mix, bell pepper and tomato sauce.
Let it boil then turn off fire. Mix together macaroni, half a cup of cheese then soured cream. Decant into a baking pan.
Layer beef mixture atop and then layer with the rest of the cheese. Pop in the oven for half an hour (350 degrees F).
