Squash Casserole Recipe
Ingredients:
1/2 c of potato chips (Ruffles); crumbled lightly
1/2 c of cheese (American); shredded
3 Tbsps of bacon fat
1/4 tsp of pepper
1/2 tsp of salt
1&1/2 c of water; boiling
1 pack of dip (Frito Lay Toasted Onion)
6 pcs of yellow squash (summer)
Instructions:
Cut the summer squash to bite sized pieces. In a pot of boiling water, add salt and the dip. Then add the squash pieces.
Cook squash until fork tender. Season with pepper then add the bacon fat. Decant mixture in a baking pan. Layer cheese on top then add the potato chips.
Pop in the oven for twenty minutes (350 degrees F). Good for six persons.
