Shrimp Bake Recipe
Ingredients:
3 Tbsps of margarine or butter
3 Tbsps of flour
1 c of half-and-half
3/4 tsp of mustard (dry)
1/2 c of milk
Pepper (ground fresh), for flavor
1 lb of shrimp; well-cooked, peeled & deveined then cut to bite size pcs
3 pcs of bread slices; cubed
1/2 c of crumbs of bread (Italian-flavored)
Instructions:
Melt the margarine or butter into a big skillet. Next, stir the flour in w/ whisk ’til all the flour becomes absorbed. Then, sprinkle pepper and mustard in. Slowly put in milk along w/ half-and-half then cook ’til it thickens.
Add bread and shrimp. Pour the mixture in baking pan lightly greased w/ butter. Top w/ crumbs and bake over 350 deg F about half an hour or ’til bubbly. Makes 4 servings.
