Scalloped Potatoes and Franks Recipe
Ingredients:
1-1/4 c of onions; sliced thinly
2 tsps of salt
5 c of potatoes; sliced thinly
2 Tbsps flour
2 Tbsps butter
A tsp of salt
A pound of frankfurters
1/4 lb of cheese (Cheddar); diced
2 cans of tomato sauce (8 ozs)
2 Tbsps of parsley; chopped
Instructions:
Cook onions and potatoes inside boiling hot water w/ 2 tsps of salt about 5 mins; drain. Then, slice the franks and combine onions, potatoes, flour, butter, salt, franks, tomato sauce (one can), parsley and cheese together.
Next, spoon in to a casserole (2-quart ) and pour tomato sauce (last can) over it. Bake about 35 mins over 375 deg F; serves 6.
