Sausage-Apple Casserole Recipe
Ingredients:
8 c of bread (white); cut to cubes
2 apples (large); peeled then cored & cut to pcs
1 lb of sausage (bulk)
1 onion (large); diced well
1 sweet-bell pepper (green); cut to cubes
1/2 c water
1 tsp salt
Instructions:
First, preheat the oven (350 deg F). Meanwhile, grease baking pan (12 by 8-inch). Place the bread in a large bowl. Next, brown the sausage w/ some water (little amount only) inside a skillet and drain.
Then, add sweet pepper and onion; stir then cook ’til tender. Next, pour onto bread in the bowl and add apples, salt and water. Toss it to combine and spoon in to bakig pan prepared earlier. Bake about 30 – 40 mins; serves 6.
