Salmon and Cheese Casserole Recipe
Ingredients:
2 c of potatoes; mashed
1 c of white-sauce (hot, medium)
1.5 c of cheese (Cheddar or American); shredded
1/4 tsp of salt
Pepper, to taste
1/4 tsp of cayenne
1 c of buttered crumbs of bread
2 c of salmon (canned); flaked
Instructions:
Butter the crumbs by melting 1 to 2 Tbsps of butter then mix into a cup of dried crumbs. Next, place the potatoes into buttered deep dish.
Mix cheese, seasonings and white-sauce the stir ’til cheese melts. Pour 1/2 of the sauce onto potatoes.
Then, add the salmon into remainder of the sauce and pour into the deep dish. Sprinkle w/ crumbs. To finish, bake at 350 deg F for 20 mins.
