Rusty’s Pork Chop and Rice Casserole Recipe
Ingredients:
6 pcs of porkchops (1/2-inch)
A dash of salt
A dash of pepper (black); ground fresh
3/4 c of rice (white, long-grain); uncooked
12 ozs of mushrooms (fresh); sliced
1 tsp of thyme
1 c of chicken broth
Sprigs of thyme, to garnish
Instructions:
Preheat the oven (350 deg F). Then, brown chops well. Season w/ pepper and salt. Spread rice onto the base of a baking pan greased earlier. Arrange the chops on rice.
Then, top w/ slices of mushroom. Put thyme into the broth; mix well. Pour broth all over. Cover and bake for an hour.
