Ranch House Chili Casserole Recipe
Ingredients:
4 pcs of bacon slices
2 lbs of beef (boneless); cut into cubes
2 pcs of onions (medium); chopped
2 cans of tomato sauce (8 ozs)
2 tsps of white sugar
1 pc of garlic clove; minced
1 Tbsps of powdered chili
2 shakes of hot sauce
1-1/4 tsp of salt
2 cans of red beans (kidney, 20 ozs); drained well
Cook the bacon inside a big skillet ’til crisp. Next, remove the bacon slices, drain then crumble. Next, set aside 3 Tbsps of fat then brown the meat into remaining fat. Put in a 3 quart casserole.
To finish, cover then bake over 375 deg F about 30 mins. Afterwards, add garlic, 1 c of water and onions along w/ tomato sauce then powdered chili mixed w/ sugar. Bake again w/ cover on 300 deg F about 45 mins.
Add the rest of ingredients; blend well. Bake over 350 deg F about 20 mins. Sprinkle w/ bacon before it is served.
