Pork Chop-Rice Bake Recipe
Ingredients:
1 c of rice (uncooked)
6 pcs of porkchops
2 Tbsps of oil
Water (hot)
1 pack of soup mix (onion)
A regular can of soup (cream of mushroom), or
A regular can of mushrooms (sliced) w/ juice
2 Tbsps of pimiento; diced
Instructions:
Brown the chops into oil. Next, spread the raw rice into base of 3 by 9″ baking pan. Reserve a Tbsp seasonings taken from soup mix then sprinkle remaining seasoning and the bits of onion above rice.
Then, drain the mushrooms then distribute onto rice; reserve the liquid. Add the water (hot) to the liquid earlier set aside to sum up to 3 c of liquid then pour everything on rice. Place the chops onto rice then sprinkle w/ reserved seasoning.
Tightly cover w/ foil or lid then bake over 350 deg F ’til just about tender enough, 45 mins to an hr, depending on the chops’ thickness.
Uncover then continue to bake for ten mins or ’til all liquid excess evaporates. Makes 6 servings.
