Pierogi Casserole Recipe
Ingredients:
1 lbs of lasagna pasta noodles
8 ozs of cream cheese
6 c of potatoes (salted); diced
5 pcs of onions (large)
3/4 lb of margarine or butter; divided
Instructions:
First, cook the potatoes, also the noodles. Mash the potatoes w/ cream cheese. Slice the onions, brown into 1/4 lb butter. Next, add the rest of the butter then brown.
Next, put in a small portion of the butter into base of the pan (9 by 13-inch). Layer w/ noodles, the potatoes, the onions then the oleo. Bake, covered w/ foil, over 300 deg F about 15 mins. Uncover then bake 10 – 15 mins more.
