Paulette de Normandy Recipe
Ingredients:
1 pack of stuffing for bread
1 c of margarine or butter
1 c of broth (chicken)
2.5 c of chicken; cooked & diced
1/2 c of onion; chopped
1/2 c of celery; chopped
1/2 c of scallion tops
1/2 c of mayonnaise or salad-dressing
3/4 tsp of salt
2 pcs eggs; well beaten
Cheese (grated)
1.5 c of milk
1 can of soup (cream of mushroom)
Instructions:
Mix half the pack of stuffing for bread and butter then put in a 9×13-inch baking pan. Combine broth, chicken, onion, celery, scallions, mayonnaise and salt; put onto stuffing.
Sprinkle the rest of the stuffing onto the top. Then, combine the eggs and milk then pour on stuffing.
Next, cover then chill overnight. Take out from the fridge 1 hr before baking; spread soup (cream of mushroom) on the top.
Without cover, bake over 325 deg F about 40-45 mins. Remove pan from the oven then sprinkle w/ cheese; bake about 5 mins more ’til cheese melts.
