Monterey Spaghetti Casserole Recipe
Ingredients:
4 ozs of spaghetti; break to 2″ pcs
1 c of sour cream
A pc of egg
2 c of cheese (Monterey-Jack); grated
A can of onions (French fried, 2.8 ozs); divided
1/4 c of cheese (Parmesan); shredded
1/4 tsp of powdered garlic
10 ozs of spinach; frozen, thawed, drained & chopped
Instructions:
First, cook the spaghetti. In a separate bowl, beat the egg. Add Parmesan, powdered garlic and sour cream. Drain the spaghetti and add it into egg mix w/ 1/2 of onions, Monterey-Jack and spinach.
Pour mixture to a 2 quart greased baking pan. Cover then bake over 350 deg F about half an hour or ’til heated thru. Top w/ the last of onions, put back to oven w/o cover for 5 mins or ’til onions turn golden-brown. Serves 6.
