Macaroni Luncheon Casserole Recipe
Ingredients:
2 c of macaroni (cooked and rinsed)
1/2 lb of chopped bacon
1 c of onion; chopped finely
10.75 oz of canned soup (tomato)
5.3 oz of milk
1/2 c of tomato catsup
1/2 lb of grated cheese (Cheddar)
Instructions:
Preheat the oven (350 degrees F). Fry the bacon but don’t let it crisp; take them out from the pan. Cook the onion on bacon drippings till translucent. Combine soup, catsup, and milk.
Grease a 2-qt baking dish. Place one-third of cooked macaroni on the base then sprinkle one-third of the bacon, one-third of the cheese, then onion, and pour one-third of the tomato mix.
Repeat another two layering. Bake, covered, for 60-90 mins.
