Johnny Marzetti Casserole Recipe
Ingredients:
2 lbs of beef (ground)
2 c of celery; chopped
2 c of onion; chopped
1 c of pepper (green); chopped
16 oz of noodles (wide, flat)
10 oz of jarred olives (salad, broken, undrained)
6 oz of tomato paste (canned)
10.75 oz of canned soup (tomato)
8 oz of tomato sauce (canned)
1 pkg of sauce mix (spaghetti); mixed according to directions in package
4 oz of mushroom pieces (and stems, canned)
1 lb of grated cheese (Cheddar)
Instructions:
Cook the noodles according to its package directions. Saute the beef, onion, pepper, and celery. Combine noodles with sauteed mixture. Add olives, tomato paste, soup, tomato sauce, spaghetti mix, and mushroom; mix thoroughly.
Transfer on a slightly greased baking dish and cover it with cheese. Place inside the oven and bake (375 degrees F) for half an hour, uncovered.
