Hawaiian Ham Casserole Recipe

Ingredients:

1/2 c of butter; melted
30.5 oz of canned pineapple chunks with juice
1-1/2 c of sugar (brown)
2 Tbsps of mustard
1 Tbsp of Worcestershire
1/2 tap of salt
1/2 tap of pepper (black)
1/2 tsp of cinnamon (ground)
1-1/2 c of raisins
30 pcs of cherries (Maraschino); halved
1-1/2 c of walnuts; chopped
8 c of rice (cooked)

Instructions:

Combine butter, juice from pineapple, and sugar inside a pot above moderate heat; stir till sugar is dissolved then add the mustard, cinnamon, Worcestershire, salt, and pepper.

Stir thoroughly then add the ham; let it simmer for 5-10 mins. Add the chunks of pineapple, cherries, walnuts, and raisins; simmer it for 5 mins.

Spread the rice onto a 13×9-inch casserole. Add some liquid from the sauce till wet; stir thoroughly and place the sauce mixture above. Heat inside the oven (350 degrees F) for 15-20 mins.
