Hamburger-Cream Cheese Casserole Recipe
Ingredients:
1 pc of onion (medium); chopped coarsely
1 Tbsp of butter (unsalted)
1 tsp of salt (fine)
1/2 tsp of pepper (black)
1 lb of hamburger
16 oz of tomato sauce (canned)
8 oz of noodles (packed)
1 c of creamed cheese curd (Cottage cheese)
1/2 c of sour cream (dairy)
1/3 c of sliced scallions
1/4 c of bell pepper (green); chopped
8 oz of cream cheese
Instructions:
Brown the hamburger with onion on butter; add (tomato) sauce, salt, and pepper. Stir thoroughly and take out from the heat; set aside.
Cook the packed noodles as stated in its package directions then drain well. Combine cheese curd, (sour) cream, cream cheese, scallions, and bell pepper.
Spread one-half of noodles on a 3-qt casserole dish then cover them with mixture of cheese then place the rest of noodles above; cover them with the mixture of hamburger above.
Place inside the oven and bake (250 degrees F) for half an hour.
