Firecracker Casserole Recipe
Ingredients:
2 lbs of beef (ground)
1 pc of onion (medium); chopped
15 oz of canned beans (black); rinsed then drained
1-2 Tbsps of chili powder
2-3 tsps of cumin (ground)
1/2 tsp of salt
10.75 oz of canned condensed soup (cream of mushroom, undiluted)
10 oz of diced tomatoes & green chiles (canned, undrained)
1 c of shredded cheese (Cheddar)
4 pcs of tortillas (flour, 7-inch)
Instructions:
Cook beef with onion on the skillet till beef becomes brown; drain then add beans, cumin, salt, and powdered chili. Mix them well and transfer on greased 13×9-inch casserole; arrange the tortillas above.
Combine tomatoes and soup; pour onto tortillas then sprinkle cheese. Place inside the oven and bake (350 degrees F), uncovered, for 25-30 mins or till heated thoroughly.
