Corned Beef and Cabbage Casserole Recipe
Ingredients:
2 lbs of cabbage; chopped
A can of Cheddar-cheese soup
3 Tbsps of grated onions
1/2 tsp of salt
2 Tbsps of butter; melted
A can of diced corned-beef (12 oz)
A can of milk (evaporated, 5 & 1/3 oz)
1 tsp of mustard
4 bread slices; cubed
4 American-cheese slices
Instructions:
Have cabbage cooked w/ some water for 5-8 mins ’til tender then drain very well.You alternately arrange cabbage & beef layers in shallow 2-qt casserole dish.
You separately mix the milk, soup, onion, salt & mustard, stirring well. Then pour this mixture into prepare cabbage & beef layers.
Toss cubed bread w/ softened butter then arrange them around casserole edges. Have dish baked at three hundred fifty degrees Fahrenheit for about 45 mins.
