Corn Dog Casserole Recipe

Ingredients:

2 c of thinly-sliced celery
1 & 1/2 c of scallions; sliced
2 large eggs
2 tsps of sage; rubbed
2 packs of cornbread mix (8 & 1/2 oz)
2 Tbsps of butter
1 & 1/2 lbs of hotdogs
1 & 1/2 c of milk
1/4 tsp of pepper
16 oz of shredded sharp-Cheddar cheese

Instructions:

Have the celery sauteed in heated butter for about 5 mins. You add your onions then saute about 5 mins. Transfer in bowl then set it aside.

You slice the hotdogs in lengthwise fashion into four then you cut quarters into three. Using that skillet have the hotdogs sauteed for about 5 mins ’til browned lightly. Add them into veggies then reserve a cup.

Combine milk, eggs, pepper & sage in bowl. Add rest of hotdog mixture. You add cornbread mixes. Blend in 1 & 1/2 c cheese.

You spread the mixture into shallow 3-qts bake dish then top w/ reserved hotdog mixture & then w/ extra cheese. Have it baked w/o cover for about 30 mins at four hundred degrees Fahrenheit ’til golden-browned.
