Corn and Bacon Casserole Recipe

Ingredients:

10 bacon strips
2 Tbsps of flour
1 & 1/2 c of sourcream
1/2 tsp of salt
2 c of fresh whole-kernel corn
1 Tbsp of chopped chives (fresh)
1/2 c of chopped onions
2 garlic cloves; minced
1/2 tsp of pepper
1 Tbsp of chopped parsley (fresh)

Instructions:

Have the bacon cooked in skillet ’til crispy, then drain & reserve 2 Tbsps drippings. Have the bacons crumbled then set it aside.

You saute the onions in bacon drippings ’til tender. You add the pepper, salt, garlic & flour. Stir while cooking ’til bubbly, then cook & stir for 1 more min.

You remove the pan from heat then add sourcream, stir ’til smoothened. You add the parsley, corn, and one-half of bacon, blend well.

You pour the mixture into 1-qt bake dish the sprinkle w/ extra bacon. Have it baked w/ cover for abut 20-25 mins at three hundred fifty degrees Fahrenheit ’til well heated. Best when served w/ chives.
