Chops and Sour Cream Kraut Recipe
Ingredients:
4 porkchops (loin) w/ bone attached
1/8 tsp of pepper
1/2 c of sourcream
1 sliced onion; separated into individual rings
1/2 tsp of caraway seed
1 can of rinsed sauerkraut; drained
3-4 Tbsps of flour (all-purpose)
1/4 tsp of salt
1 Tbsp of veggie oil
1 clove garlic; minced
1/4 c of chicken stock
1/2 tsp of paprika
Instructions:
Season porkchops w/ pepper & salt. Have them cooked in heated oil in skillet ’til evenly browned. Add the garlic & onions.
You combine the stock, sauerkraut, paprika & seeds then spoon mixture over porkchops. Let it boil. Adjust heat then simmer w/ cover for 20-25 mins ’til meat reaches 160-degrees F.
You remove the porkchops then keep heated. Sprinkle the flour all over your sauerkraut mix, cook & stir mixture for about 2 mins. Remove it form heat then add sourcream. Serve w/ porkchops.
