Chili Pasta Casserole Recipe
Ingredients:
1 lb of lean beef (ground)
1/4 tsp of salt
1 can of vegetarian-chili w/ beans (15 oz)
1 & 1/2 c of shredded sharp-cheese (Cheddar); divided
1 & 1/2 tsps of chili seasoning
8 oz of pasta; cooked
1 onion (medium); chopped
1/8 tsp of pepper (black)
1 can of Italian-style undrained tomatoes (14 & 1/2 oz); stewed
1/2 c of low-fat sourcream
1/4 tsp of garlic seasoning
Instructions:
Cook the onions & beef in large-sized skillet. Season w/ pepper & salt. Continue cooking ’til meat is browned then drain the fat.
Add the chili, 1 c of Cheddar-cheese, tomatoes w/ juice, sourcream, chili & garlic seasoning. Add this into pasta & stir well ’til pasta gets evenly coated.
Then sprinkle w/ remaining cheese then cook w/ cover ’til well-heated & bubbly.
