Chile Rellenos Sausage Casserole Recipe
Ingredients:
1 lb of bulk sausage (pork)
4 c of shredded cheese (Colby)
6 beaten eggs
2 Tbsps of flour (all-purpose)
3 cans of whole chiles (green); drained & sliced lengthwise
4 c of shredded cheese (Monterey-Jack)
1 can of milk (evaporated)
Instructions:
Have the sausage cooked in large-sized skillet placed over mid-heat ’til browned, stir to have meat crumbled, drain.
Have the chiles layered int greased 13×9x2″ bake dish. Sprinkle w/ cheeses & sausage. Combine milk, eggs & flour. Combine thoroughly.
Pour this mixture all over cheese & sausage. Have it baked w/ cover for about 45 mins at three hundred twenty-five degrees Fahrenheit.
