Chicken Noodle Casserole Recipe
Ingredients:
2 c of noodles; broken
1 tsp of salt
1/4 c of chopped almonds
1/2 c of milk (evaporated)
1/2 lb of cubed chicken; cooked
1/2 c crumbs from bread
4 c of boiled water
1 cream-of-chicken soup can
2 Tbsps of butter; melted
1/8 tsp of thyme (ground)
1/3 c of chopped bellpepper (green)
Instructions:
Prepare your oven. Heat it to three hundred seventy-five degrees Fahrenheit. You grease one 6-cup bake dish.
You cook the noodles in salted boiling water ’til tender. You place the noodles into bake dish then the soup mixture, thyme & milk over.
Place one layer of the chicken pcs & almonds. Combine butter, green bellpepper & crumbs. Sprinkle this over dish. Have it baked for 20 mins ’til sauce becomes bubbly.
