Hot Turkey and Cheddar Casserole Recipe
Ingredients:
Butter (unsalted)
3 c of turkey (leftover); cubed
3/4 c of celery; chopped
5 oz of canned chestnuts (water, sliced); drained
1/2 c of bell pepper (red); chopped
1-1/3 c of mayonnaise
1 Tbsp of onion; grated
2 Tbsps of juice (lemon)
2 c of shredded cheese (sharp Cheddar)
1 c of shredded cheese (Mozzarella)
1 c of crushed cornflakes
Instructions:
Preheat the oven (350 degrees F). Butter a 9×13-inch baking glass dish. Combine celery, chestnuts, red pepper, onion, mayonnaise, juice, half of Cheddar, half of Mozzarella, and turkey inside a bowl; mix thoroughly.
Transfer on the prepared dish; bake inside preheated oven for 25-30 mins or till heated thoroughly.
Combine cornflakes with remaining cheeses; sprinkle over baked dish then bake again for another 5-8 mins or till cheese has melted.
