Crescent Taco Ring Recipe
Ingredients:
2 lbs of beef (ground)
2 tsps of chili seasoning
1 c of onion; chopped
1 c of catsup
1 can of whole-kernel corn (12 oz)
2 small cans of refrigerated quick-crescent dinner-rolls
1/2 c of cornmeal plus 1 Tbsp
1 tsp of salt
1 c of olives; chopped
1 can of tomatoes (whole, 16 oz)
1 can of tomato-sauce (8 oz)
2 c of shredded cheese (Cheddar)
Instructions:
Have the oven preheated to three hundred seventy-five degrees Fahrenheit. Cook the beef in skillet ’til browned, add the rest of the ingredients excluding rolls, 1 Tbsp cornmeal & cheese. Let mixture simmer w/o cover, stir occasionally.
Separate the dough into eight rectangles. Press them into 12-cup fluted tube-shape pan to form the crust. Tightly press for it to beautifully seal.
You sprinkle the bottom of dish w/ 1 Tbsp cornmeal & cheese. You spoon the beef mix all over the cheese. You cut every rectangle carefully into four shorter strips then lay them across the filling top spoke-fashion.
Have the inner & outer edges on dough sealed. Have dish baked for 25-35 mins. Allow to cool in upright manner in bake pan for 10 mins before inverting into serving platter.
