Cabbage Roll Casserole Recipe
Ingredients:
1 pc of cabbage head (large)
1-1/2 lbs of beef (ground)
2 c of uncooked rice (instant or Minute)
Butter (unsalted)
26 oz of tomato sauce
Onion (powder)
Garlic (powder)
Salt & Pepper
Instructions:
Chop cabbage to bite sizes. Add butter on a (Dutch) oven, covering the base. Fry cabbage till tender and crisp. Transfer them on a bowl; set on the side.
Add the beef on same (Dutch) oven; cook till browned. Cook the rice on another saucepan. Combine rice with meat then add garlic, onion, sat, and pepper; add just enough amount of (tomato) sauce, letting mixture moisten.
Cover (tomato) sauce on the base of 13×9 inch baking glass dish, about a quarter inch. Arrange a layer of cabbage, then the mixture of rice then (tomato) sauce till full. Place inside the oven and bake (350 degrees F) for 45 to 60 mins.
