Broccoli and Rice Casserole Recipe
Ingredients:
4 Tbsps of margarine (or butter)
1 c of celery; chopped finely
1 c of onion; chopped finely
1 pc of bell pepper (large); chopped finely
4 c of rice (cooked)
2 pkgs of chopped broccoli (cooked according to directions)
8 oz of cheese spread (Cheez Whiz)
2 canned undiluted soup (cream of chicken, celery, or mushroom)
Garlic powder (to taste)
Salt & Pepper (to taste)
Instructions:
Saute the onion, (bell) pepper, and celery on margarine then add broccoli, rice, soup, and cheese spread; mix thoroughly then season as desired. Butter a 3-qt casserole then pour over the mixture. Bake (350 degrees F) for 45-60 mins till heated thoroughly.
