Baked Chicken and Dumplings Recipe
Ingredients:
Vegetable cooking-spray
2 Tbsps of veggie oil
2 tsps of baking-powder
6 chicken-breast halves (skinless & boneless); uncooked
2 celery stalks; chopped-coarsely
1/2 tsp of crushed dry sage
2 cans of chicken stock
1/2 c of milk
1 c of flour
1/4 tsp of salt
1 onion (medium); finely-chopped
1 pack of frozen carrots; sliced
1/4 tsp of pepper (ground)
Instructions:
Prepare the oven. Heat it to three hundred twenty-five degrees Fahrenheit. Grease 2 & 1/2-qts casserole w/ coking-spray.
Combine oil & milk in bowl. Gradually add the baking-powder, salt & flour. Mix thoroughly ’til consistency of a dough is achieved then set it aside.
Arrange the meat at the casserole’s bottom. Cover the chicken w/ celery, carrots & onions. Sprinkle evenly pepper & sage over the veggies the pour the broth all over the dish.
