Avocado Chicken Casserole Recipe
Ingredients:
1 c of broad & flat noodles (green)
2 Tbsps fresh juice from lime
1/4 c of flour
5 Tabasco dashes
1 c of grated cheese (Cheddar)
1/2 c of roasted chile; peeled & coarsely-chopped
1 ripened avocado (large); peeled & slice
1/2 c of butter
1 tsp of salt
2 & 1/4 c of half-and-half
6 chicken-breast halves (skinless & boneless)
Instructions:
Cook the noodles following package instructions then drain & set it aside. You prepare the oven. Heat it to three hundred fifty degrees Fahrenheit. Drizzle the slices of avocado w/ juice of lime then set them aside.
Have butter melted in 2-qt saucepan placed over low-heat. Add the flour, Tabasco and salt, cook ’til mixture will bubble.
You add the half-and-half gradually, stir constantly ’til mixture will be thick. Add the cheese then stir it well ’til melted.
You reserve one cup of sauce. You mix the rest of the sauce w/ prepared noodles.
Put chicken at bottom-part of 9×13″ bake dish. Have it covered w/ chopped chiles (green). You spoon the noodle mix over chiles & chicken.
Place slices of avocado above then pour over reserved part of the sauce. Have it baked without cover for 35 mins.
